In celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd, we asked some of our employees at Stem and AlsoEnergy how they celebrate Earth Day as leaders enabling the clean energy transition. “Mother Earth is a wonderfully unique and complex web of interconnected systems where we humans are small but mighty players in it. Our industrialization and its excessive greenhouse gases have disrupted these systems, almost irreversibly for all beings. Good news – energy is a common link between all these systems and it’s up to you and me to regain balance by promoting a just transition to clean energy with speed and scale. Earth Day at Stem is not only another day where we work tirelessly towards sharing clean electrons with the world, but also a reminder to love our planet’s natural beauty.”

“There used to be a time when Earth Day was just another day for me. Sure, I recycled and used public transit to go to my tech job every day but that was the extent of it. Then I realized that I could actually do more by using my experience in tech to help companies like Stem make an even bigger impact on climate change. “As an Energy Professional, I like to spend Earth Day in the great outdoors reflecting and reminding myself why I participate in the advanced renewable energy industry. As a new mom, I am more determined than ever to protect the natural world and contribute to a future of cleaner air & water and lessen natural disasters for generations to come.
